I'm starting to build some depth in the coat with layers of acrylic, still a long way to go. I'll add some glazes next.Yesterday I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to capture a pair of Kingfishers with my camera. I've never before been close enough to get usable photographs, yesterday I got around 100. Some are a little blurred but all are usable. Here are a couple.

Gayle, I'm following your fox portrait with interest - it's looking great.
I seem to be a specialist when it comes to taking blurred photographs of distant birds and my own recent attempts at approaching a Sacred Kingfisher were frustrating to say the least. I'm extremely envious of your fantastic photos!
Your little fox is coming along beautifully. I love his golden eyes.
And those photo's! That camera of yours is amazing and you're an excellent photographer. All that practice is really showing. I especially love the second one. I hope you paint some of those kingfisher pics.
