More from Canada

A scene and an animal.
Moraine Lake and a Hoary Marmot.
Today was warm and sunny so the water at Lake Louise and Moraine Lake was a really deep turquoise.
There were plenty of Ground Squirrels and several Marmots enjoying the sun.

Welcome to Canada!! I hope you see lots of wildlife and may all the creatures stay still long enough for you to grab your camera. :-)

Thanks for sharing your view of Lake Louise Gayle. I was there in person in the 1990's. It had such an impact on me, and your lovely photo brought it all back again.

Isn't the colour of the lake amazing? I just love it there. A painter's paradise.

Banf is such a gorgeous place! I was there a few years ago plein aire painting and I would love to get back there! The black bear shot is amazing. This may sound super crazy but I live in New Jersey and have black bears that frequent my back yard. Yet I have never been able to get a close up photo of one of them. Go figure! Love your blog! Have an awesome day. Cheers!
